2. What future areas will you be building in?
FoxRidge located in Lubbock Cooper ISD is opening this summer 2006, and Preston Hollow located in Frenship ISD is due to open in 2007. We also have other areas under negotiations. We are always growing. We believe that our future is very bright with plans for the next twenty years in Lubbock County, Texas.

3. Why do you not display your house plans?
All of our plans have come to us from original thinkers. Over the years we have personalized homes into very special and very desirable plans. History has shown that good plans are often copied quickly and spread around. We feel it is to our customer’s benefit not to show a basic house plan, but rather deliver as many plans as a client may need when they come to visit one of our model homes.

Since we more often than not modify a plan to meet the needs of our client, we are much more able to assist in structural suggestions, design suggestions, and personal modifications. In person, we are willing to give our client the attention and knowledge to show that we truly care about their design ideas, and we want to share our knowledge to develop the best home for their family and their personal needs.

4. What size of home do you build?
There is no defined number that we can share with you. At present we offer over 100 floor plans starting at about 900 square feet, and the largest home built recently is over 9000 square feet. We create tear sheets for homes up to approximately 3600sq. ft. Above that our clients are rather private and specific. We service all sizes. The smaller homes are much more conventional. The larger they get the more specific a customer’s needs are. We strive to remain flexible and willing to look at the modifications brought to us to consider.

5. How does Heritage Homes compare in price to other builders?
When you are comparing our product to the product of our competition, you can see that those brand x companies do not stand up as well. The wise home shopper is our best customer because they can see the value and quality in our homes. We are home owned and operated with a lot of buying power that allows us to regularly pass on savings to our clients. The money you save and the quality that you receive as a Heritage Homes customer will ultimately speak for itself.

6. How does Heritage Homes compare in price to existing homes?
When you compare what you get with an existing home to that of a new home, the money is always in your favor to buy a new home. It’s new, it’s your colors, and it has not been lived in before. You select the neighborhood, the home site, and you get to work with one of the most educated staffs in the building industry.

10. What is the Friends of the Builder Program?
The “Friends of the Builder” Program is an incentive program that helps people find us, especially if a buyer is referred by someone who already owns a Heritage Home, someone who is one of our Subcontractors, or by someone that is a supplier of our Home product. It’s a very simple way to show both interest in our friends and support for those looking to purchase with Heritage Homes. Please take a moment and look at Friends page.

12. What if I need to sell my home first?
We can help. We have great relations with a Realtor that can do a market evaluation, determine the value on the market and list your property. We even have a trade in program that is a specific and valuable tool to the client needing to sell their existing home.

13. How do you name your plans?
We use the square footage of the heated and cooled area of the home as our plans name. We have found that it is more informative to our customers than an unrelated name.

14. Do you support any charity work?
Yes, we actively support several charitable organizations. Since our work is so family oriented we have several special places we provide our support. Children must be a major part of our giving. Food, shelter, security, physically challenged, child identity, and Christian outreaches telling the story of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ are among the current charities we support.

15. When did you begin in business?
Our experiences for knowing the business began in 1975 for all partners, so our building experiences began a lot earlier than the physical beginning of Heritage Homes in 1993. Our success continues to expand because of our commitment to our customers. When you consider the owners time in the business, the experience of construction with our construction management, and the level of knowledge with our sales people, we have well over 150 years of building experience.

16. Are there homes available that are complete and ready to be occupied?
Yes, we have several distinct homes ready for immediate move-in that are located in our different communities. We try to keep a few homes ready or near ready for people that require homes immediately. The largest percent of our customers choose to select and personalize their plans and then build the home to meet their own needs rather than settle for one that has been predetermined, but with our impeccable taste we never have color co-ordination problems, our homes are ready to move in and that helps to satisfy many of our clients needs.
